Goldstock 2016 Update

For those of you eagerly awaiting news, we expect to have our website updated, and registration open sometime this week, so stay tuned!  For those of you who are new to Goldstock... here are the links to some important sites:

Our official website.  Registration is not open just yet (we are still doing some updates), but here are the answers to many of your questions:

Our Facebook group page and our Facebook Official page. And the website for the Dogumentary:  DOGCAMP! A documentary filmed at Goldstock 2015:

Goldstock, as it has been for the past 17 years, will be held over Labor Day weekend, Thursday, September 1 through Monday, September 5.

Lots more information to come, but to answer a few of our most FAQ's:

You do not have to have a rescue dog to attend Goldstock, and all dogs are welcome, not just golden retrievers, as long as they are both people and dog friendly.  Although the majority of our attendees are goldens, we welcome all golden hearted dogs; our frequent attendees have included Abbi (a golden wannabee), Roxy the Gorkie, Great Danes, labs, aussies, a Brittany, and other dogs of, shall we say...unknown parentage (cheers to Axl and Rocky).  The thing all we humans have in common, is our love of and support for rescue, and we even have folks attend dogless...there are often extras to be borrowed for the weekend!

Children are welcome...after all, Goldstock takes place at a children's camp.  Every year we are pleased to see more and more kids attend, and we know that they are the future of rescue.

So, stay tuned.  We'll be announcing the opening of registration very shortly, and will also be announcing the 2016 theme.

You can direct any immediate questions or concerns to me at:  goldstock2@aol.com.  I look forward to seeing old friends, and welcoming new ones... Goldstock 2016 is coming!
